Commissioned in August 2021, the Raghnesda Solar Power Project is a 200 MW plant located in the Raghnesda Solar Park, Banaskantha district, Gujarat. Developed by Electro Solaire Pvt. Ltd. (ESPL), a wholly owned ENGIE subsidiary, the project was completed in just 14 months, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19.
The project supplies approximately 546 GWh of electricity annually, offsetting over 387,000 tons of CO₂ emissions. It operates under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
