The Wind Project in Tamil Nadu was won in two tranches of SECI’s wind auction tenders.

Spread over 1,000sq km, it is a 252 MW project that we are jointly implementing with our equity partner STOA. The project consists of 126 Vestas WTGs which connect through a network of internal 33kV cables to a pooling substation, further connected to the central transmission network via an 18-km 220kV EHV transmission line.

The electricity generated will eventually be utilised by the discoms in the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.
