MIRZAPUR SOLAR POWER PLANT

Commissioned in March 2018, the 75 MW Mirzapur Solar Plant is one of Uttar Pradesh’s largest solar projects. Developed by ENGIE, it was jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron, highlighting Indo-French cooperation in renewable energy under the International Solar Alliance.

Spread over 385 acres in Dadar Kalan village, the plant utilizes over 318,000 solar panels and produces approximately 190 million units of clean electricity annually. This project highlights ENGIE’s commitment to accelerating India’s transition to sustainable, low-carbon energy solutions.
