The Raghanesda Solar Plant (290MWp) in the state of Gujarat, was commissioned in July 2021. The 25-year Power Purchase Agreement was tendered by GUVNL (Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited). ENGIE won the tender in August 2019, and the Implementation Support Agreement was signed in October 2019 with GPCL (Gujarat Power Corporation Limited)
The Mirzapur Solar Power Plant (101 MWp) in the state of Uttar Pradesh, was commissioned in March 2018. ENGIE signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in June 2016. This plant was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron alongside ENGIE Group’s former CEO Isabelle Kocher.
The Bhadla Solar Power Plant (190 MWp) in the state of Rajasthan, was commissioned in June 2017. The plant uses a dry robotic mechanism for cleaning modules for long-term high performance.
ENGIE India’s largest solar project — Kadapa solar power plant (350 MWp) was commissioned in February 2020 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The solar project uses more than 2,700 string inverters for higher efficiency and accessibility.
ENGIE is active in seven states across India, with a mix of Solar and Wind assets.
